A United Nations World Heritage site, "The Historic Centre of Macau" is the product of over 400 years of cultural exchange between the East and the West. "The Historic Centre of Macau" encompasses architectural legacies, predominantly European in design, standing in the midst of a very traditional Chinese backdrop. It is considered the oldest western architectural heritage on Chinese soil today.
This half-day tour, sponsored by the Macau Government Tourism Office, will take participants into a stroll of the city’s historical streetscapes and piazzas including Guia Fortress and Lighthouse, Barra Square, Lilau Square, St. Augustine’s Square, Cathedral Square, and St. Dominic’s Square among others.
Heritage Tour
Participants will likewise enjoy great photo opportunities at some of the oldest monuments, churches, temples, fortresses, and ruins that are testament to Macau’s glorious past.
