Previous positions in different industrial activities (paper, shipbuilding, electricity, cement, shipping) with responsibility on accountancy, finance, planning and budgeting and procurement, namely Financial Senior Manager of Setenave (shipbuilding), Portline (shipping) and CEM, and CEO of VIROC (cement) and of CEM until October 2007.

In 2003 he was appointed General Manager of PLN Distribusi Jakarta Raya & Tangerang. In 2008 he became Acting Director of Generation and Primary Energy and recently President Director of PT. Dr Young-Ha Lee

History: MBA, Graduate school of Business Administration, Seoul National University, Korea(1986); Ph.D., School of Business & Management, Glasgow University, UK (1994). Dr. LEE has been with KEPCO for 26 years. Since he joined the company in 1981, he has undergone a variety of job experience from director for ERP system construction & implementation to head of local district office. Director general of Euro-America Business Department since 2007.
 
Dato' Sri Che Khalib

History: Dato' Sri Che Khalib bin Mohamad Noh was appointed as a Non-Independent Executive Director of TNB on 1 July 2004. He sits on the Board Tender Committee, Board Finance & Investment Committee and Board Disciplinary Committee. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (United Kingdom) and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He has held several key positions in the private sector. He started his career with Messrs Ernst & Young and later joined Bumiputra Merchant Bankers Berhad. Between 1992 and 1999, he served in several companies within the Renong Group, including Projek Lebuhraya Utara-Selatan, HBN Management Services Sdn Bhd., Renong Overseas Corporation Sdn. Bhd. and Marak Unggul Sdn. Bhd, the consortium company responsible for the management of Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad. In June 1999, he joined Ranhill Utilities Berhad as the Chief Executive Officer. He was the Managing Director and Chief Executive of KUB Malaysia Berhad prior to his appointment as President/Chief Executive Officer of TNB. Prior to joining TNB, he served as a member of the Board and Executive Committee of Khazanah Nasional Berhad from 2000 till 2004. He also served as Board member on several of the United Engineers Malaysia Berhad Group of Companies and Bank Industri & Teknologi Malaysia Berhad.
 
Sombat Sarntijaree

History: Mr. Sombat Sarntijaree is a graduate from the Kasetsart University, Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (1971) and he is a Master of Engineering (Mechanical), Lamar University, Texas, USA, (1975). Positions held at EGAT include: Assistant Director, North Bangkok Power Plant (Oct. 1993 to Nov. 1994), Assistant Director, Efficiency Control Division (Nov. 1994 to Nov. 1995), Director, Wangnoi Power Plant (Dec. 1995 to Oct. 2000), Vice President Generation Business 1 – Power Plant (Oct. 2000 to Sep. 2003), Assistant Governor – Power Plant 1 (Oct. 2003 to Jul. 2005), Senior Executive Vice President – Operation and Maintenance (Aug. 2005 to Mar. 2006), Deputy Governor - Operation and Maintenance (Mar. 2006 to Sep. 2006), Deputy Governor – Generation (Oct. 2006) and Governor since Nov. 2007.
