History: Datuk Wira Md. Sidek Ahmad obtains his Master of Business Administration from University of Ohio (Athens, USA) in 1995. In 1975, he graduated as Bachelor of Science (Hons) majoring in Electric & Electronic Engineering from University of Manchester, Institute of Science and Technology. He is the Industry Representative of the Engineering Accreditation Council Board of Engineers, Malaysia, ‘Fellow Member' of Institute Engineering Malaysia (IEM) and also served as IEM Council Member. Datuk Wira Md. Sidek bin Ahmad begins his career in National Electricity Board (NEB) in 1975. Since serving NEB for more than 30 years, now known as Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), he holds important post in Operation and Top Management at District, State and Head Office levels. Such as Deputy Regional Manager (South), Regional Manager (Penang), and Regional Manager (Wilayah Persekutuan). He was seconded to Lembaga Letrik Sabah (LLS) from 1983 – 1987 as Chief Engineer (Planning & Development). In 1998 he was appointed as Vice President (Customer Services) and later as Managing Director, TNB Distribution Sdn. Bhd. effective 1 st September 1999. He was appointed as Vice President (Corporate Services, Planning and Development) since 2 nd January 2002. On the 1 st September 2004 he was appointed to his current post as Senior Vice President (Operation). He is the Chairman of the AESIEAP Interim Technical Committee, Country Coordinator for HAPUA, Malaysia and Council Member of National Council for Scientific Research and Development, Ministry of Science, Teknology and Innovation. Furthermore, he is also in the Board of Directors in a few TNB Subsidiaries, and also in the Board of Director, Universiti Teknikal Malaysia (UTeM), Melaka.


Company: Director (Technical Services), SP PowerGrid
History:Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical), University of Singapore, Post-Graduate Diploma (Business Administration), National University of Singapore and a Professional Engineer of Singapore. He had joined the then Public Utility Board (PUB) in the Electricity Department in 1972, which was subsequently corporatised in 1995 as SP PowerGrid, a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore Power Ltd. With 34 years of transmission and distribution experience, his areas of expertise cover distribution planning, construction, maintenance, condition monitoring, power quality management, data acquisition and remote control, and power network protection.


Company: Vice President for Geothermal Generation, National Power Corporation (NPC)
History: Asian Institute of Management – Master in Management (1998); Mapua Institute of Technology – B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (1972). Mr. Sedilla, a Professional Mechanical Engineer since 1978, has been with NPC for the past 33 years, starting as an Associate Mechanical Design Engineer in 1974 and rising from the ranks to become Vice President for Technical and Maintenance Services in 2003. Currently, he is Chairman of NPC's STAR-3 Program, which embodies NPC's strategies and programs for the next 5 years. He also holds a Career Executive Service Officer IV eligibility.
