| Chairman of CEPSI 2002 Fukuoka (Jun. 2000 to Nov. 2002). After graduating from Kyoto University with a degree in Economics, Mr. Kamata joined Kyushu Electric Power Co., Inc. in 1958. Positions prior to his appointment as Honorary Advisor include: General Manager of Personnel Department (1987), General Manager of Fukuoka Branch Office (1989), Director & General Manager of General Affairs Department (1991), Managing Director (1994), Executive Vice President (1995), President (1997) and Chairman (2003). He has also been served as the chairman of Kyushu Economic Federation since May 2003 and the vice chairman of Japan Electric Association since June 2007. |
