President of AESIEAP paid a visit to China Huaneng Group (CHNG) and China Datang Corporation from May 14 to May 15, 2010

　On May 14, 2010, Mr. Edward Chen, President of AESIEAP, visited China Huaneng Group (CHNG). They were warmly welcomed by Mr. Cao Peixi, President of CHNG, Mr. Huang Long, Vice President, and other colleagues from CHNG.

　Mr. Edward Chen invited Mr. Cao and his colleagues to attend CEPSI 2010 to share their experience and strategies to cope with the issues ranging from climate change and soaring energy prices at CEPSI 2010 with other members. . Mr. Cao expressed that he had a high interesting in attending this conference.

　After paying a visit to CHNG, Mr. Edward Chen paid a visit to China Datang Corporation (CDT) in the morning of May 15, 2010 and was warmly welcomed by Mr. Liu Shunda, the Chairman of CDT, Mr. Wang Hsin, Director of President Office Operation Department, and Mr. Yin Li, Director of Strategic Planning & Development Department.

　Mr. Edward Chen introduced the programs of CEPSI 2010 and discussed the managerial issues of power industry development, including the topic of technical cooperation and exchange among members in the future. They all agreed that AESEIAP would play an important role in promoting the technical cooperation mechanism among the AESIEAP members.
